Coach Tom Dutkowski enters his 34th year as the Head Baseball Coach at Powers Catholic HS in the spring of 2015. Dutkowski took over for Bill Haley (for whom he assisted for four years) in 1982 and since that time, Dutkowski is the career victory leader of all baseball coaches in the Greater Flint Area with 664 wins.

Powers JV football head coach, 1979 to 1998; career record 135 wins 41 losses 4 ties; eleven Big Nine JV titles; coached 31 seasons in total
Dutkowski, a 1973 Powers HS grad (1977 from WMU), teaches English at Powers Catholic and has been married to Valerie since 1985. The couple has two children: Jill, a two-time all-state soccer player at Powers, earned her doctorate in May 2015 from the School of Veterinary Medicine at MSU; and, Vincent, a 4-year member of the Powers football and baseball programs, and a 2014 Michigan State University graduate, begins Law School at Northwestern University fall 2015.
